SHODEN LEVEL I
(Japanese: Beginner Teachings)

Shoden teaches relaxation and meditation techniques, how to practice healing the self, and the basics about helping others. At this level the student is heading out on the path to self-discovery; this is just the beginning.

There are also deeper Japanese cultural and philosophical understandings that are taught at each level.

Shoden Level I course is offered in-person, for personal, non-professional practice.
Students receive course manual and Shoden Level I certificate.

OKUDEN LEVEL II
(Japanese: Hidden or Inner Teachings)

Okuden is where students learn three mantras/Jumon and three symbols or emblems/Shirushi that aid in focusing the energy. At this level students discover their hidden inner qualities such as their Earth, Heaven and Heart energies/Ki. There is the opportunity to develop a professional treatment practice from these teachings.

There are also deeper Japanese cultural and philosophical understandings that are taught at each level.

Okuden Reiki Practitioner Level II is offered in-person, for personal and/or professional practice.
Students receive course manual and Okuden Level II certificate.
Prerequisites: Completion of Level I, Shoden Reiki Certification Course from any lineage.

SHINPIDEN LEVEL IIIA & IIIB
(Japanese: Mystery Teachings)

Shinpiden focuses on personal development and teaches the student how to perform attunements/Reiju. At this level students move into discovering more about the mysteries of life and how one relates to their self and the universe. This can be practiced for the rest of your life and is always a personal practice that can develop into a professional teaching practice if one desires.

There are also deeper Japanese cultural and philosophical understandings that are taught at each level, which will be explained in more detail with the appropriate levels.

Shinpiden course for Reiki Master Level IIIA is offered in-person, for personal and/or professional practice.
Students receive course manual and Shinpiden Level IIIA certificate.
Prerequisites: Completion of Level II, Okuden/Practitioner Reiki Certification Course with The Reiki Space™, or Santa Cruz Reiki Works/SCRW, or International House of Reiki/IHR.

Shinpiden course for Reiki Master Teacher Level IIIB is offered in-person, for personal and/or professional practice.
Students receive course manual and Shinpiden Level IIIB certificate.
Prerequisites: Completion of all prior levels of Reiki (Shoden/Level I, Okuden/Level II, and Shinpiden/Level III) with The Reiki Space™.
